The Wellness Community in Walnut Creek- they provide support for cancer patients and their families- they helped my family tremendously when my parents were diagnosed

because art is a science and all kids need science literacy to become fabulous chemists like Tim Holtz!

John Tracy Clinic, an organization that provides FREE services to families of children with hearing loss (www.jtc.org). They also do hearing screenings at local schools, have a world-wide correspondence course, and a graduate program to train teachers of the deaf. All services are FREE, and are provided world-wide. A fantastic program!!!

TAPS is an East Bay organization of high school girls and their parents committed to promoting volunteerism through effective action and leadership. Its purpose is exclusively educational, service-oriented and charitable. TAPS reaches out to high school girls and their parents of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to volunteerism.
Examples of activities performed by TAPS: bringing pets to senior homes, carolling for seniors, soup kitchens, food banks, habitat for humanity, special olympics, love-a-child missions, teaching swim lessons for underprivelidged, meals on wheels, bay area crisis nursery....Just to name a few!
