ok I just found the mobile application to post! It is a whole new world.
I know I haven't posted in awhile but I'm doing my best:)
I love Monday's that sounds weird but it is day off and I get to be super productive mom.
Here is what I did today:
Woke up at 3, 5 and finally 6:45 am to let
Beta out to hurry up (short for hurry up and pee it is freezing out and I don't want to wake up too much) at 6:45 Sedona woke up so we were off to an early start, not really I slept on the couch with her as she watched Word World
Then Sierra woke up we had breakfast then went outside to pick up dog poop ( I won't post a picture of that one.)
We got all ready to go to the climbing gym yeah for mommy!
On the way to lunch a sweet old lady hit my car :(
Then we went to lunch @ Katy's Creek so yummy!
Vet for Beta's shots
then home! Last but not least my girl Tiff came over with her kids for scooter & bike fun and Pizza. We were trying to get the kids super tired so they would go to bed on time for school after a weekend of late nights.
Everyone went to bed on time for a lovely evening for mom which I did a few chores (not too many...you know me!) and finally finished the book Atonement! Whew! of course there are a lot of little bits I didn't mention but most of you are mom's and know all the snotty noses, whining and crying that went on during my perfect day off why spoil it right?
I am getting a new dog, what that has to do with balance I don't
know! But I really miss having a big lug in my life so here's goes
nothing! Here he is
his kennel name is Wynn. Sierra is trying to come
up with some names.
I have one in mind but not sure if I can convince the family! I will keep you all informed.
I love the idea of a word for the new year, not list of improvements, not a resolution, not a I am going to stop doing, eating, thinking xyz...list, but a word. Just a word, to capture, to motivate or to slow you down. Just one word to think about everyday. Thank you to Tim via Ali for the idea. I am running with it. My word this year?
balance.
What a day! I can't believe how perfect the day went. I have uploaded a ton of photos from the day and some of them are not good but hey I got them up ok! Sierra and Avery were so cute "helping" their guests and enjoying the entire day. The pictures really do say it all. It loks like a lot of work for two 6 year olds but ya know what they are worth it! Plus sharing the workload with another mom was actually a great life saver props to Maura for the food!
This title means too things. First I had a weekend getaway with my girlfriends a glorious time in the city.
We all got to eat meals without getting up from the table, go pee when WE needed to and took showers EVERYDAY! I know it is the little things. A not so little thing was visiting Mission Cliffs rock climbing gym in SF it was huge Tiff, Janine and I all thought we heard angels singing from the rafters. Saturday morning we all took a lovely walk down to Fort Point which we got to tour the Fort and read the historical plaques. We found out all sorts of interesting things like back in the day they ate all their meat in the morning. Since i don't eat meat that factoid was of no interest to me except I couldn't remember the last time I learned something new for no reason at all except to know it. What does re entry mean to this post? All the cubs (for explanation of "cubs" visit Tiff's Blog) really wanted to try for a good re entry into real life after our decadent weekend of selfishness. We all assimilated just fine btw!
The second meaning is my re-entry into blogging I recently saw a few of my relatives on my Dad's side of the family and found out they all read my blog and keep up with things. Hi everyone! Happy Thanksgiving. I promise to post more pictures of the girls too!
OK I am a little tired but I had a dream I blogged about my husband so i decided it was time I gave him a little face time. Here's the thing, i am so lucky to have this man as my best friend & husband. He supports me in my (ad)ventures with every bit of heart and soul he has. He spends ALL day helping 5 women moving stuff around and hauling big heavy things and is a champ about it... Don't get me wrong this guy is not whipped he tells me to buck up make decisions, keeps things moving on the right track. I think about everything I have and want to accomplish in my life and I could not even fathom doing it without him. I look at him from across the room and am ready to conquer to world. We have been through a lot together and I am so proud to still be standing by his side. This guy here ... he is my Man. I love you.
ok so now I have so many things to do I have like 7 lists going! so I gave up on the tally. One step at a time baby. Speaking of I have the most adorable school pictures on my girls and they are on my machine at work so I am going to post them tomorrow night. Sierra is not my baby anymore! It is so freakin' me out she is like a little mini me and I am not sure I am equipped to deal with myself.
Since I am just rattling on here is what my week looks like, tomorrow huge sale at the store, tuesday last day open at Walnut Creek then we are packing up, making the move, never mind our flooring isn't in yet, only half the lights are installed or well you get the picture. Did I mention my husband chief mover of all goods leaves town on Sunday the 16th? yep time crunch just a little bit. so as this week unfolds everyone send me their good energy vibes because I am going to need them...big time!
ps i did finish Rome ;)
