Hi everyone!  we have had a wonderful response to the In addition Kits, I finally got some good pictures up in the store of week one and two.   They are here.  I hope to have all the weeks up tonight, I had a few requests to pre-order upcoming kits.

Here is Melodee's Class she is teaching on Saturday!  Yep you get the ATC Card holder!!!
mostly in the class you will be stamping and making the stucture, she has a whole bunch of extra goodies you can put on during the crop.  If you want to bring pictures for this project to add during the crop  not in class, 2x3 's will work the theme? anything!  all year around is the basic theme!

Our exclusive kits are designed to take you through the entire year. Easily create a gift with this year's photos, leave it blank for next year's memories, or supplement your current album with adaptable, pre-designed pages.

Each kit includes a CD with: detailed instructions; full-size color pictures of the sample project; custom artwork, titles and templates (when applicable); ideas to adapt the design; and even an occasional video demonstration of helpful techniques! New Design Team

Many of you saw all the wonderful entries we received for this design team call.  I can't tell you how hard it was to choose.  I deeply thank everyone who entered every piece was a great treasure and I enjoyed getting to know alot of you through your work.
I am so excited to have all these lovely ladies on our team!  It is time to get rockin' on the classes.  With this team MDW will be sure to bring you the best classes in the East Bay stay tuned for more info!

Summer Scrapbook Camp for Youth!

Announcing the long-awaited return of our annual youth summer camp! Did we have a blast last summer or what?! We're at it again so get ready to explore your creative side as we learn and play with mixed media, altered arts, photography, scrapbooking and more! This year you're in for a special treat as we will be venturing out on field trips with cameras at the ready for some awesome photo ops and of course, a fun time!

Camp sessions and themes:

Week One: "Pass the Sunscreen" June 25th-29th 10:00am-2:00pm (lunch included)

*Field trip on June 25th to...you guessed it, the BEACH! (Don't forget your sunscreen!)

Week Two: "Midsummer Magic" July 16th-20th 10:00am-2:00pm (lunch included)

*Field trip on July 16th to Mt. Diablo open space for a magical adventure and picnic in the park!

Week Three: "School of Scrap" July 23rd-27th 10:00am-2:00pm (lunch included)

*Field trip to an art museum for inspiration and fun!

In each camp session, students will complete three projects related to the session's theme and learn an amazing array of arts, crafts and scrapbooking techniques. Camp is perfect for all levels from beginning to advanced...everyone will learn something new while having a blast through the creative process!

All sessions are for ages 9+

Each session is $299 (Includes all instruction, projects, snacks, lunches and field trips).

Last year we had a ton of fun with ages ranging from 9-18! Camp was a creative haven for everyone and the range in ages and abilities made for a truly unique and amazing experience for all!

Bag Ladies Unite!

Was this event fun or what?  Huge Thanks to the first round of bag ladies for all your laughter and enthusiasm as we were running around getting things "flowing"  We all had so much fun! We got some really good ideas for next years Bag It event and can't wait to hold another one! I think everyone will agree the sale was a winner!  Next year watch for a longer bigger and better Bag it Sale!

Room With A View

Calling all seasoned and/or new altered artists!

We are thrilled to present Connie Govea Stuart, teaching "Room With a View" Saturday, March 3rd. Connie, Director's Circle Artist for Stampington & Company, will be hosting an altered arts workshop from 10:30am-1:30pm at  MDW.  Described as "romantic and  whimsical," Connies designs are "layered with intricate details and never fail to surprise and delight" (Legacy 2007). Treat yourself to Connie's expertise while creating a beautiful shadow box adorned with antique treasures and mixed media techniques.
