Dear Friends, Family and Treasured Customers,
It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to close My Daughter's Wish.
Originally, we had decided to ride out this economic downturn; however, priorities changed and things have begun to point me in a different direction. To put it simply, my family needs me, and I am not going to wait for the proverbal brick to hit me on the head.
I realize how many of our loyal customers will be disappointed in this decision, and I am sorry. But, for personal reasons, this is the right move for us.
The upside is that I am going to continue doing monthly kits, online classes and free tutorials. I also hope to continue working with many of our talented designers to put together a few special events. So stay tuned...
You have all touched my life in many ways, and I thank everyone for the best 5 years a girl could ask for! Please view this not as a departure but a simple change of venue.
I hope to see you all in the next few weeks as we wrap up the store, hit the holiday season and roll on...
Create, Play and Dream Everyday,
Hugs to all,

At this point I know you are all saying "What?" "Why?" "When?" "Huh?!" and "Oh, maaaan!"

I am so sad to see you close the cutest shop around that feeds my creative side. I understand the need to do so as we had a family restuarant loved by many and needed to close it down a few years ago and all the love and time put into it is now just a memory and a scrapbook.!
We are having a 2nd annual scrapbook fundraiser for our elementary school April 17th. If you come down to having just little things left and don't know where to give them, we'd really appreciate anything. Its Coyote Creek Elementary school in San Ramon. Several of us parents shopped in you store for several years and will miss it so much too.
I wish you a lot of luck and hope all will be good for you & your family. Family is always first!

I am very sorry to see your store close and wish you all the best. Several years ago I attended my first class at your WC location and got hooked on scrapbooking. I have always loved fabrics, colors, textures, and creating so this was a natural next step. Thank you for helping to keep my creativity alive and well. Best of luck to you and your family.
